To qualify as a member, one books any meetings and events with a minimum of 10 or more paid rooms at an event qualifying rate for at least one single night, or events with minimum eligible event charges of US$5,000 (before deducting any event credit, or its local currency cash equivalent). Every US$5 spent = 1 Golden Circle Award Point (maximum cap of US$200,000 spend per event; 40,000 GC Award Points per event or 80,000 GC Award Points when it is a double point) . A second event within the same calendar year, will earn double Golden Circle Award Points on that event and any subsequent event after that. Planners may earn points when con"rming a group room blockage for an event, whilst attendees will also earn points when making payment on rooms. Points can be split and shared with up to three other event partners and colleagues. Members who plan three tier upgrade events within one calendar year will reach Jade membership; a 10-tier upgrade of events will reach Diamond membership. If members host one event worth US$200,000 (maximum cap), they earn 40,000 points and can redeem 40 room nights or 80 room nights in the case of double points in Collection A hotels.
