Our first grade students can tell you we
sort organic waste from recycling in the
cafeteria, and how the waste becomes
nutrient-rich loam at a local farm.
Fourth graders, who tend the Learning
Garden, can discuss how food systems
affect our health and the environment.
Alongside challenging academics,
athletics, and arts programs, we teach our
students what it means to be responsible
citizens—including protecting the
environment. You'll understand what
we mean as soon as you meet us.
