Did you know that the Idaho Falls Zoo was the first zoo in Idaho to be accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums? I.F. 's small zoo has made big waves of change, educating the Idaho Falls community and participating in over 40 species survival plans. The zoo holds more than 300 individual animals representing 130 species from around the globe, meaning there is plenty to discover with every visit. Classes may feature games, crafts, books, songs and always include tons of fun and animals! Spring Break Classes The zoo has teamed up with The Art Museum of Eastern Idaho to bring your kids even more fun, unique experiences during spring break. Explore the science and art of animals at both facilities! Camps are each 4 days in length. Each camp provides two days of up-close learning with the animals at the zoo and two days at the museum creating wild animal art! Summer Zoo Classes Classes are available for all ages wishing to explore the zoo and gain some valuable knowledge during the summer months.
