Salisbury Cathedral is a medieval masterpiece
comprised of stone, glass, wood and textiles.
These raw materials, formed in the hands of
skilled craftsmen, are what comprise one of the
world's greatest architectural accomplishments.
It can be no surprise therefore that the
Cathedral is now home to a permanent
collection of art works using the same materials
and more by some of the most renowned artists.
We have chosen nine works from the permanent
collection, created over the past century, to
accompany this exhibition.
