Photos by Tom Campbell Boilermakers' 15 Workouts Robert Gregory got a long look at running back during the spring and had his moments. The Chicago native, who came to Purdue as a quarterback, wasn't able to get much room to roam during the spring game as the Black defense kept him bottled up for much of the afternoon. Sydney Becker gets an autograph from Rob Henry before the spring game. One of Purdue's most popular players, the senior was the target for many fans before and after the game. Sanders Stilts, a 4-year-old from Noblesville, does his best Cradle of Quarterbacks pose during the pregame session that included lots of kids. Stilts hopes to make the roster in 2027, though he is not sure yet if he will redshirt. Running backs coach Jafar Williams didn't have much to work with during the spring after three of his players suffered injuries. The former Maryland receiver (2000-03) will have several incoming freshmen who will be trying to work their way to the field when fall camp starts in a few months.
