and Makayla Earnheart
both hail from Dallas,

sprinter/jumper
Savannah Carson and
distance runner Hope
Schmeize join the program from the state of
Illinois.
Rounding out the runners in the class are distance runner Kiara McIntosh from California and
sprinter/hurdler Shantrya
Delaney from Tennessee.
Thrower Chelsie Meeks
is the lone in-state signee in the class and is the
top-ranked senior in Indiana's class.
With his lone male signee, Greene added a versatile athlete in Obokhare
Ikpefan. Coming from
Roswell, Ga., Ikpefan specializes in the 200- and
400-meter dashes as well
as the 400-meter hurdles
and the triple jump.
This year's women's
team will lose four athletes to graduation while
the men have seven seniors on this year's roster.
The spring signing period for track and field
runs from April 9 until the
start of August. Purdue
could still add to these 10

Olympic Gold medalist David Boudia took a
moment from his busy schedule to present
an award at Purdue's Golden Pete Awards
hen David Boudia agreed to be in early April.

show "Splash," he wanted to learn
from the best in the business.
So the former Purdue diver and
Olympic Gold medalist logged on to
YouTube to check out the highlights
from more-seasoned reality show judges like Tom Colicchio, Simon Cowell
and Len Goodman.
