F R O M T H E A RT I ST I C D I R E C TO R On behalf of the entire Company, I want to express our deepest gratitude for your unyielding support over these past few months. We have missed seeing you in the theatre and experiencing the energy and enthusiasm you bring to us with every performance. Throughout this experience, our organization has grown and learned a lot. I am amazed and so proud of how our whole Company has come together, and what we have accomplished in keeping our artform alive and available to our wonderful audiences. It has deepened our conviction that now more than ever, we need the beauty and healing power of art in our lives. We regret that with our shortened 2020 Season, you missed out on two of our most anticipated productions. However, I am pleased to share that for our 2021 Season both A Midsummer Night's Dream and Romeo & Juliet will return, along with my own production of Swan Lake. This will make for a trio of beautiful ballet productions for all to enjoy – each filled with spectacular music and dance, compelling stories, and stunning costumes and scenery. We are committed to sharing these works in whatever way we can with you. Whether by digital means, live in the Opera House or both, you will have a season that showcases the continued diversity, artistry, and excellence of San Francisco Ballet. I hope you will join us as we look ahead and continue to create and experience the beauty of dance, together. Helgi Tomasson Artistic Director & Principal Choreographer
