Wider working widths, increased trash clearance and reduced downtime were the design parameters used to develop two new models in the series, available in 30-foot and 36-foot, 6-inch working widths. e new 36-6 model is 20 percent wider than Brillion's current 30-foot WL Pulvi-Mulcher and is the widest and heaviest Pulvi-Mulcher ever produced in the company's history. e new 30-foot model is 80 percent heavier than previous models, providing more clod-crushing power. A minimum of 24 inches between shank rows and three rows of heavy-duty S-tine shanks featuring 25 inches of under-frame clearance result in improved trash flow. To ensure a smooth finish, a leveling bar is located in front of the rear roller to help level ridges le by the shanks. Large, 8-inch roller axles eliminate the traditional center bearing, improve reliability and reduce downtime. l LEMKEN (208) 715-0088 www.lemken.com LEMKEN HELIODOR e Heliodor compact disc harrow can be used for shallow stubble cultivation on light and medium soils as well as for seedbed preparation in various growing conditions and farming systems. e Heliodor fits both conventional and minimum- tillage operations. High working speeds and a low power requirement guarantee high-performance at low costs. e open frame design lets the Heliodor handle residue where tines come to their limit. e dual cutting angle of the individually mounted 20- inch discs ensures excellent mixing over the entire soil profile to create a uniform seedbed that warms up evenly. Various rollers from Lemken's wide range offer optimal crumbling, leveling and firming for different conditions and seedbed requirements LEMKEN KARAT e heavy-duty Karat chisel plow is a multi- talent that can do several tillage jobs in one pass, including primary tillage, seedbed preparation and deep mixing or deep loosening. Various combinations of the point and an innovative guideboard allow the Karat to be equipped for different mixing and crumbling intensities at working depths from 2 to 13 inches. Switching between the share types is easier than ever thanks to Lemken's quick-change system. A robust, thick-walled square tube made of micro- alloyed, fine-grained, special steel provides the strong base for the frame with three rows of shanks. eir narrow spacing of 11 inches guarantees a complete fracturing of compaction zones. Leveling discs and an integrated roller provide a smooth, firm finish, leaving fields ready to plant. n
