INNOVATIVE RIDES Polaris’s 2021 Model Lineup Offers New Enhancements And Increased Performance By SCORE Journal Staff Photos Courtesy Polaris With UTV sales in high demand, Polaris announced its 2021 models of which some include performance upgrades as well as visual enhancements to many of the performance and sport models that are popular with SCORE fans. Many of the latest upgrades come from Polaris’ continued feedback from both racers and consumers who help the company innovate. Polaris RZR Turbo & Turbo S At the top of the company’s performance lineup, Polaris adds an upgraded clutch to the RZR XP Turbo and RZR Turbo S models. The new design provides improved geometry that adds greater airflow to cool the belt and improved clutch alignment to decrease wear on the clutch belt. A new RZR Turbo S Lifted Lime Edition is more than just a brightly neon color and decal package. The RZR Turbo S Lifted Lime also includes Polaris’ DYNAMIX Active Suspension system that continuously adjusts shocks on the fly for optimum traction and vehicle stability. The Lifted Lime also features Polaris’ RIDE COMMAND 7-inch touchscreen display that allows owners to configure gauges to their liking and features a Follow Me function that allows you to communicate and stay connected as a group with directions, GPS Navigation and pre-downloaded maps for route planning. LED headlights and accent lights are also included in the Lifted Lime Edition as well as lower doors and an aluminum sunroof. Polaris RZR Pro XP & XP 4 If you wished you had better sound with your older Polaris RZR Pro XP or XP 4, the 2021 models will feature the RIDE COMMAND display that also operates a Rockford Fosgate enhanced audio system. The company says this system is 2.5-times louder and features improved bass and higher audio quality all around, allowing you to be loud and proud during your excursions. These features are available separately, but If you want all of these features in your 2021 model Pro XP, it’s available with the Pro XP Premium Trim level. Performance enhancements to the Pro XP & XP 4 models also included in 2021, like an engine air intake and rear shock guards, as well as lightweight wheels and an improved clutch design. Polaris also fixed the door latch on these models which results in less rattle while driving. Exclusive to the RZR Pro XP are new rear tender springs that were updated to last longer than in previous models, and also produce a better ride. All Polaris RZR models (except RZR 570) include a new in-dash trickle battery charger port adaptor that allows you to easily attach a battery charger to your vehicle when in storage, and makes it much easier to keep the battery fully charged for your next adventure. Ranger and General Models Upgrades to the Polaris Ranger models include a new Ranger XP Trail Boss model geared towards hunters, farmers and ranchers. Ranger XP 1000 models have an improved clutch, LED headlights and RIDE COMMAND. Trail Boss and Northstar models now have 29-inch tall Maxxis tires and all Ranger XP 1000 models feature 14-inch aluminum wheels. Polaris General models receive a new XP 1000 Pursuit Edition added to the line-up that’s available in two or four-seat models. It also features a new locking bed, storage rack and Kolpin Stronghold Gun Boot and 11-inch Pro Armor light bar. Other General models include RIDE COMMAND and a new lock & Ride rear bed storage rack. New premium colors are also available as well as perforated seating surfaces. More info on all of Polaris’ current and 2021 models is available on www.offroad.polaris.com. SJ
