Yaremchuk is the chief of craniofacial surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital and is a part-time clinical professor of surgery at Harvard Medical School. He received his MD from the Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons and his BA degree from Yale College. Recognized nationally and internationally for his expertise as a plastic surgeon, he is known as an innovator who uses state-of-the-art techniques and extensive knowledge to care for his patients. Patients come to Boston for his care from all over the world. Dr. Yaremchuk is a pioneer in the use of computer- designed and -manufactured (CAD/CAM) facial implants, which he crafts for the individual patient using CT scan imaging. Tailoring surgery to the unique features and aesthetic goals of each patient enables him to create truly bespoke results. An authority on implant design and placement, Dr. Yaremchuk authored the Atlas of Facial Implants: Second Edition, published in 2019. In addition to surgery of the face and facial skeleton, Dr. Yaremchuk practices a full range of cosmetic surgery including liposuction and breast augmentation. His care of patients referred to him with facial deformities created by prior cosmetic surgery has been reported in many national and international magazines including Harper's Bazaar, Self, British Glamour, and Allure magazines, and has been featured on the E! network and the Today Show. Dr. Yaremchuk is an educator as well as an expert clinical surgeon. A former director of Harvard's plastic surgery residency program, Dr. Yaremchuk regularly lectures globally to his plastic surgery colleagues on the techniques he has developed. He has served as a visiting professor across the United States and in countries including Argentina, Belgium, Brazil, Chile, China, England, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Russia, and Taiwan.
