OCTOBER 2020 www.landscapeandamenity.com Contents 02 As we move into Autumn our industry remains as busy as ever, despite the on-going challenges posed by Covid-19. In more recent times October has become preparation month for the SALTEX event at NEC Birmingham and with the understandable and welcome decision to push this year's event back to March 2021 we now have to wait an extra few months before we get to meet up, network and see what new products and services are available. It is heartening to see that many of the exhibitors are not resting on the laurels, however, and are continuing to press ahead with new launches and upgrades of existing products. Both Rigby Taylor and Kubota are showcasing important new products in this month's issue and many other companies have continued with their plans to unveil new systems and solutions in recent months. This is important for a number of reasons, not least it signals the healthy situation the industry still finds itself in. Work continues apace across the whole industry, so the launch of new products and services is vital to help both the day-to-day maintenance and management and larger new schemes to keep progressing. This month we feature our Professional Groundscare supplement and spotlights on key areas such as Natural Turf Management and Linemarking. We also have our usual wider round-up of what is happening throughout all sectors and the latest news and views. Recovery from the impact of Covid-19 will not happen overnight. So, it remains as important as ever to plan for the future and keep moving forward and our industry will have an important role to play in that recovery process.
