4 T E S T IMONI A L S The National Agricultural Aviation Association has had great conventions in Savannah and the city has worked with us to ensure we have the best possible shows! It is one of our most popular destinations among attendees and exhibitors. Our exhibitor numbers are some of the highest we've had and our convention revenue has increased each year in Savannah. We exhibit aircraft on as part of the Ag Aviation Expo Trade Show and we have a large number of aircraft that can be exhibited at the convention center. Our Ag Aviation Expo is a city-wide for downtown and our attendees like the fact that restaurants, bars, shops, etc. are friendly to our group and that we're the big fish in the pond. We enjoy the small town charm and southern hospitality that Savannah offers. The proof is in the pudding – IAEM will return to Savannah for our 2022 Annual Conference and EMEX. Savannah is a charming, historic Southern location, full of friendly, hospitable people who are happy to have you visit. The city is very walkable, with many restaurants, shops and attractions close to the hotels we utilized. The climate, architecture and arts scene, and overall convenience make it a great destination for an event of our size. The Convention Center and meeting space are first class, and the food outstanding. The efficient water taxi experience was a fun way to bring participants together for a short ride to our meetings and exhibition. How often do you take a boat ride to work? The Savannah hospitality professionals are wonderful. We are most grateful to the staffs of VisitSavannah. com, the Savannah International Trade and Convention Center, and all the hotels who contributed to the success of our event, and made certain that our 2,000+ participants had a memorable, Savannah experience. CLAY D. TYERYAR, MAM, CAE International Association of Emergency Managers AESA has held their annual conference in Savannah three times and loved every time. The city is such a great venue and the convention center is a perfect size for this meeting. We use all the space either for our general session, numerous break out session and our exhibits. The catering is quite good and cost effective as well especially for a small organization like AESA. Everyone at the center are helpful and flexible so this make it easy throughout the planning and execution of a conference. Using the water ferries makes getting to the center seamless and most, if not all, attendees love this different approach to their commute. Since Savannah is such a walkable city our attendees enjoy getting out and about the town as much as they can. And of course they do enjoy the food….so many nearby restaurant choices – there is something for everyone. Each time we are there we enjoy a different restaurant for a private council dinner as do several of our affiliates.
