It was a bit of advertising to the community that we're open and ready to serve." Still, as the pandemic continued to rock the country, restrictions were put back into place in November that left the brand-new facility empty until at least January 2021. Whenever the Snoqualmie facility opens up again and more restrictions are removed, the staff appears to be ready to support a growing amount of interest in the sport. Huscroft and Rodgers both anticipate further growth as the Kraken get closer and closer to playing their first game as an NHL franchise. "Before we knew the NHL was com- ing to town, we were running one adult Learn to Play per season," Huscroft said. "Now we're offering six Learn to Play sessions for just adults."
