2021 SCORE Rule Book Updates SCORE International has made changes to its rule book that include updated information on how to use the book, class number ranges, and terminology. Class descriptions for SCORE Trophy Truck , Trophy Truck Legends, and Pro UTV Unlimited have been updated. New classes include Pro UTV Open and Pro Quad Ironman. Changes to General Regulations have also been made which include the following: SCORE Policy section has been relocated to a new section immediately following General Regulations. GE 7 (pg. 2) - Penalty for non-attendance at Driver/Rider meeting is one (1) hour. (2.01.21) GE 11 (pg. 2) – Maximum number of participants per team that may register for each SCORE event in 2021. (2.10.21) GE 12 (pg.3) – 2022 Reclassification of top sportsman moto and quad finishers in 2021. (2.10.21) GDC 2 and GDC 3 (pg. 6) – Banded Participant clarification. (2.01.21) GQ 8 (pg. 9) – In-class start order revised to specify TT and TT Legends start order. (2.06.21) Policies SCORE Policies currently in effect for conduct of SCORE events. Championship Points and In-class Start Order policies revised 2.10.21 to reflect the 2021 Schedule. Class Starting Sequence – Revised 2.04.21 Competition Regulations: All Competition Regulations must be thoroughly reviewed to be certain that a race vehicle is in compliance with SCORE rules. CR 1 - HELMET AND HNR DEVICES – Reminder - Approval labels must be legible when presented during tech inspection. Every participant racing must have a helmet inspected prior to each event. All 4-Wheel occupants must also present HNR devices and driving suits for inspection. Snell SA2010 and SAH2010 helmet approval expired December 31, 2020. CR 50 Section in Competition Regulations supersedes previous CR 50 section information in all individual class listings! CR 50 - VEHICLE IDENTIFICATION MARKINGS - EXTREMELY IMPORTANT – Section is illustrated with examples of required number placements. These specifications will be enforced beginning immediately! Plan today to design your number graphics to meet the specifications, and have the vehicle properly numbered before leaving for the race. CR 54 - TRACKING DEVICE - Tracking Device policy and post-race data requests. Also, plan to pre-order tracking devices and mounting kits you need prior to race weekend! Use of Stella III EVO devices will be required at all 2021 events. Truck Classes: TT and TT Legends – Updated to include electric powered vehicles. Certain CR sections are updated to include additional requirements for electric powered vehicles (1.12.21). Classes will start inter-mixed at all SCORE events (2.02.21) Cars / Buggy Classes: Class 1/2-1600 – Venturi sizes, colors and availability specified for 1 and 2 seat vehicles. (1.07.21) Class 5-1600 – Venturi size, color code and availability specified for low compression engines. Wheelbase rule clarified to read Stock Production Wheelbase (1.07.21) Class 11 – Venturi size, color code and availability specified for low compression engines.(1.07.21) UTV Classes: Pro UTV Open – Class renamed from Unlimited to Open, to better reflect eligible vehicles. Now includes over 1000cc displacement production UTVs. Engine and transmission specifications updated for 2021. (2.01.21) MOTO Classes: Pro Moto Class – Minimum engine displacement increased to 450cc. (2.01.21) Limited Moto Class - Maximum engine displacement increased to 450 cc. (2.01.21). Quad Classes- Have been moved from Moto/Quad category to a separate Quad category (2.01.21). QUAD Classes: Pro and Sportsman Quad classes are now a separate section following Motos in Rule Book (2.01.21). New Class – Pro Quad Ironman class is now established beginning with 2021 San Felipe 250 (2.10.21). The Sohren family will be representing this honorary tribute to Pete Sohren. The race in 2020 was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but SCORE officials wanted Sohren’s legacy and appreciation for the race to remain as a part of this race for the 2021 season.
