There were so many scheduling and logistical factors
to consider. Practice and game schedules were criti-
cal in identifying when and how many ice resurfaces
needed to be performed on a daily basis. The schedule
gave us the roadmap for staffing and equipment needs
as well. Ice thickness was a critical discussion point to
maintain a safe field of play that could hold up to the
number of games and practices throughout the pod.
