Justin Pate International Wraps Amsterdam, The Netherlands www.justinpate.net Number of years you've been in the wrap business: Been in the wrap business since 1996. Worked out of NYC for 11 years and six in The Netherlands. How did you get started, and what did you do before jumping into the wrap game? Before I got into the car wrap game I wrapped people's brains in alcohol. I was a bartender and aspiring writer in NYC. I got asked by my upstairs neighbor to come work for him. I worked for him roughly one year–learning how to do all sorts of graphic installation workthough the majority of what I did was car wraps. I actually quit working for him after a year because he made the graphic installation business seem like such a frustrating way to make money. Fate actually drew me back in because, a month after I quit, my old boss was out of town on work and one of his clients asked me to wrap a car because it had to be done right away. After getting my old boss' blessing, I wrapped it and, long story short, realized car wrapping was a great business so I dove into it full on. & D I G I TA L G R A P H I C S 5/31/13 12:25 PM
