MAILCHIMP: Newsletters are a common method of engaging with clients, such as making practice announcements and sending seasonal reminders. However, as with social media marketing, newsletter marketing can be very time consuming and is easily pushed to the bottom of the to-do list. This is where marketing platforms, like Mailchimp, can help. Mailchimp is a one-stop, user-friendly option for sending online newsletters and managing a client email list. With both an online resource and free mobile application, Mailchimp users can create and send newsletters from their computer, tablet, or phone. Users can set up automated campaigns, for instance a welcome email for new clients or happy birthday email for existing patients, and schedule future newsletters in advance. In addition, Mailchimp provides detailed data analysis so users can learn how clients are interacting with their newsletter, such as what links are clinked on the most. The platform's capabilities are also expanding and now users can even create Facebook ads through Mailchimp. Mailchimp offers a free plan for up to 2,000 contacts and paid plans start at about $10 per month.
