Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
2. In a large glass bowl, melt butter. Add
flour and powdered sugar. Scrape bowl
clean and press into a 9x13 pan. Using a
fork, poke holes all over into the crust.
3. Place in the oven and bake for 15-17 min.
4. In the bowl mix together sugar and
lemon zest. Then add lemon juice, straw-
berry puree, eggs and flour. Mix until
smooth.
5. Remove crust from oven. Pour filling
mixture over parbaked crust. Bake for
another 20-25 minutes.
6. Let cool completely. Then cut into
squares and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
Notes
• I used about 4 large strawberries to get c. of puree.
• In order to get a bright pink color for the bars I add a
little bit of pink food coloring. It can be omitted.
• For a fun twist you could substitute limes for lemons.
