st player bios Position Coach Dan Ferrigno enters his third year in Ann Arbor as special teams coordinator and tight ends coach after guiding San Diego State's tight ends and special teams units under Brady Hoke in 2009 and 2010. Ferrigno helped starting placekicker Brendan Gibbons make an impressive turnaround. After hitting 1 of 5 attempts in 2010, Gibbons has connected on 29 of 35 field goals in the last two seasons, including game winners in the 2012 Sugar Bowl and the 2012 Michigan State game.
