Baja’s Meling Ranch This 10,000-acre eco-friendly property has been in the Meling family for over 115 years.  Offering a safe, comfortable environment for guests visiting Baja from all over the world. It offers guests clean, comfortable rooms. A dining room/restaurant where guests can taste some great homemade Mexican dishes. Guests can also enjoy the garden areas, or experience the various activities such as hiking, biking, swimming, and horseback riding. The Meling Ranch is also a great place to stay for those groups or individuals planning to visit the San Pedro Martir National Park, which is a 30 minute drive, or the National Astronomical Observatory which is 45 min. away. It is still a working cattle ranch, and much of the property is run by solar power. There is usually a hundred head of cattle ranging on property at all times, so don’t be surprised if you’re out walking and you see a few of them. There is also an abundance of wildlife in this area. You may see deer, bobcats, quail, rabbits, pumas, coyotes, and many more wild animals that live here. For more information, visit SJ
