In addition it manages residue and all this in one pass through the field. A new attachment option for spring use, Verti- cal Tillage Attachment (VTA) coulters, acceler- ates the creation of optimal planting conditions. The VTA features two 18-inch, wavy-blade coulters spaced 6 inches apart. These coulters are the same coulters Yetter uses on its 2982 series Vertical Tillage Attachment. This new VTA attachment option bolts directly to the shank of the Maverick in place of the knife so that it can be used during two seasons. The 2984 Maverick HR Plus is designed with parallel linkage, an adjustable front coulter, ad- justable residue managers and adjustable disc sealers. Other options include a rolling basket. With 150 bushels larger than New Holland’s previously largest air cart. Like all P Series air carts, the P1070 has a full range of capabilities to improve seeding and fertilizing productivity. Four equal-size tires, provides increased sta- bility and allows the weight of the air cart to be carried across four large tires, thus decreasing compaction in the soil. The increased stability of equal-size tires also improves flotation in muddy or soft field conditions. The P1070 has three integrated steel tanks. The three tanks splits of 135-, 183-, and 262-bushels allow operators to carry up to three separate products for single- or double-shoot ap- plications, providing more options for applying seed, fertilizer or granular products in one pass. Additional features to the P1070 air cart include wagon-style, front-wheel steering, a fan at the back-facing toolbar, staircase access to the top working platform for easy access and a large working platform on top for safe, secure accessibility to the top of the tanks.
