STRIP-TILL
Show and Till Strip-Till Seminar and Demonstration Day in Burley, Idaho, Aug. 26
This year looks to be another round of excellent discussion and demonstration on the benefits of strip-tillage. Growing interest continues within the sugarbeet industry and the Amalgamated Sugar Company is keeping up with the demand. With more and more success in the
practice of strip-tillage, interested growers continue to watch and pay attention to the financial benefits. Robert Downard, Amalgamated Agricul- turalist, is coordinating this event again for
2010. The lineup for participating manu- facturers is growing to include Schlagel, Strip-Cat and Orthman. This year’s new participants include Blue Jet and North- side Welding. Northside will be showing the use of
the Omni Track, which is designed to be attached on the bar to help with accuracy in following rows as well as other topics with strip-till.
The seminar is set to begin at 10 a.m. at Morey’s Steakhouse and Event Center
