Ensure that you receive a service report and an emissions test report for your files. Be sure to review your owner's manual for additional main- tenance items. o Ice edger, snow blower, other small engine equipment. , Change the oil and oil filter, if equipped. , Servicing/changing the air filter as required. , Tighten bolts and nuts found to be loose. , Wash/hand clean the machine. , Inspect, adjust and lubricate moving parts such as throttle or choke cables, belts. , Replace the spark plug. , Flush the fuel tank and add fresh gasoline. , Replace the fuel filter, if equipped. , Adjust carburetor, if adjustable. , Make adjustments to engine rpm/gov- ernor controls as required. SITE/GROUNDS o Annual hard surface areas inspec- tion—parking lots and sidewalks. , Grade all gravel surfaces to ensure positive drainage as required. , Ensure surface is free of large cracks, potholes or large depressions. Patch as required. Minimize any tripping hazards. o Irrigation system , If so equipped, fire up system. Verify all heads are operating and adjust as necessary. o Site drainage , Check that all downspouts and splash pans direct water away from the building. o Inspect all site furnishings Bicycle racks, benches and flagpoles for, eroded finishes, loose connectors or worn parts.
