Tame Impala @Hammersmith Apollo HIP HOP.. 25th June Pusha T @ XOYO Australian psych rockers Tame Impala return to our shores for a show at The Hammersmith Apollo only days before they are due to grace the stage at Glastonbury. Last year saw the band release Lonerism, their second album to date and one of the finest albums released in 2012. Boasting a much tighter and more refined sound than on prior tours, Tame Impala's shows makes use of hypnotic visuals to accompany their sound making this is a gig not to be missed. 2nd July Pusha T has been gone from strength to strength in the last 2 years - he's on Kanye West's GOOD Music label, released three mixtapes and dropped the Cruel Summer compilation last summer. Pusha T returns to London for a one-off show on July 2. With his long awaited solo debut album set to drop a few weeks later, fans can expect Pusha T to put on a great performance combining raw lyrics and unlimited energy at XOYO. house BIG NIGHTS OUT DNB.. HOUSE.. Genesis 3rd Birthday Party @Fire 21st June FOUND @Haggerston Park Genesis is turning three and to celebrate they have their biggest event to date planned. Featuring 13 electrifying acts, they plan to make their mark on the year's Drum and Bass calendar with a mix of high profile names, resident acts and a selection of the hottest up and coming artists. "If you go out to hear real drum and bass with some depth to it then Genesis is really not to be missed" declares Xtrah, one of the acts who will be appearing alongside Break, Ruffhouse, Octane and Philth. 15th june FOUND is a unique one day festival taking place at Haggerston Park in Shoreditch. Five of the most astute club brands in the city have collaborated to curate this festival, which sees a whole host of electronic artists come together to play over four stages. As well as a selection of fantastic music, there will be a variety of hand-picked food stalls to get your mouth watering. Tickets are very limited, and almost sold out. Many will know Hammond for singles such as 'One Step Ahead', 'I'm In Love' and 'Tempted to Touch'. However his catalogue runs deeper and includes singles such as 'What One Can Dance To' and 'Groovy Little Thing' which both incorporated dancehall and were well ahead of the trend. DUBSTEP.. Andrea Olivia @Pacha 5th July If you don't have an inner diva – there's nothing to nurture beneath the world-famous twinkling Pacha cherries. Swtizerland's Andre Oliva's coming though and you're allowed to be buzzing about that. He's got a bunch of wide-ranging influences, sure – Rage Against the Machine and N.W.A, I've heard but he pulls them into the house/techno/dubstep/disco act he's got happening.
