On weekdays, the breakfast hour kicks off at 7am with witty banter news and great music to accompany you on the way to work followed by a customary hour of garage. Julie Adenuga takes care of hosting duties from 4pm-7pm and the evenings could feature any one of your favourite DJs! A positive from Rinse is the availability of a downloadable podcast, ensuring that any show you may have missed can be listened to again on demand! LABEL OF THE MONTH The club recently held a fournight residency from Birmingham indie band Peace, but the club is also offering more brilliant events throughout the summer. The club has featured exclusive live performances from Iggy Azalea and Bloc Party. On the ground floor you can find a selection of unique cock tails along with food from Psychic Burger. The top floor holds The Shoreditch But ter y (XOYO's sister bar) with an ex tensive menu of reasonably priced beers and spirits. VIBES VIBES Situated in Dalston, friendly and welcoming. The t wo -floor factor y features a massive sound system with great lighting and ambience. Entr y to the bar on the ground floor is always free but you need to pay to enter the basement. We don' t mind, though, because we have never had a bad night in there! The real highlights of XOYO are the music. Their ethos is on delivering the ultimate weekend soundtrack and they cer tainly manage to deliver. Ever ybody there is there to enjoy great music in a great atmosphere. It is a clubbing sensation. The Sydney-based record label will launch with a single from local electronic act Alba. LONDON Renowned acts Rick Wade and Jimmy Edgar will appear on the label's first release, due out next month.The label is to be run by former Future Classic Label Coordinator and Head of Marketing James McInnes and Astral People's Vic Edirisinghe.In an interview with RA, James McInnes said the label is "a channel for all the fantastic music and ideas coming out of Australia, with no music policy. The first release will definitely be on a club tip but as the releases 5th July -Deviation - Benji B x A$AP Ferg x Jrocc x Kode9 @ XOYO and parties continue, who knows…. We'd really like to become a home for artists who are keen to try out new genres and styles too.
