WELCOME FROM EEI & KENTUCKY CLASSIQUE
Welcome to the 2021 USEA American Eventing Championships (AEC)

… we missed you!
We missed you last year! This week has been highlighted on our calendar since
last August, and we are so excited to welcome you back to the Kentucky Horse
Park for the 2021 AEC.
Qualifying to compete at the AEC is a tremendous accomplishment. Doing so
during a global pandemic is an even greater feat. 2020 reminded us not to take
for granted any event or any opportunity to compete. Congratulations to all the
athletes, both human and equine, on this achievement.
We are also grateful for the contributions of our volunteers, officials, and sponsors.
Without their involvement and support, events like the AEC do not happen. Their
commitment and contributions are immeasurable, and we hope you share your
appreciation this week.
On behalf of Mary Fike, organizer of the Kentucky Classique Horse Trials, the
Equestrian Events, Inc. (EEI) Board of Directors and staff, welcome back! We
hope your week in Kentucky creates memories to last a lifetime.
