ACH Crystal brand varieties with the CR+ trait offer an incredible level of protection from Cercospora (CLS) while simultaneously protecting yields to increase productivity. In 2021, ACH successfully released six new Crystal brand varieties with the CR+ trait into the Great Lakes and Central growing regions. Reports from the field reveal these new varieties are performing as expected and that this innovation is raising the bar for growers. Pending sugar company approvals, ACH will offer even more CR+ varieties into these markets for the 2022 growing season. These varieties provide superior protection from CLS infection with the potential for fewer fungicide applications during the growing season. For more information about ACH Seeds and its portfolio of proven varieties for 2022, contact your local sales agent or visit www.achseeds.com. On an additional note, as of Oct. 1, 2021, the ACH Seeds Sugar Bounty program is being discontinued. ACH thanks everyone who has participated in the past, helping to drive home the message that ACH Seeds Crystal brand sugarbeet seed produces great sugar yields. Stay tuned to learn more about a new program the company will be sharing over the next year. ACH believes the program, which will be revealed soon, will help local communities where sugarbeets are grown. n
