After earning Under-25 Grand Prix freestyle gold during the FEI European
Dressage Championships, held Sept. 7-12 in Hagen, Germany, Semmieke
Rothenberger parted ways from Flanell during the prizegiving. The rider walked
out of the ring with horse after she was caught, gold medal unharmed.
