ORMHOF 2020 AND 2021 INDUCTION CEREMONY The Gala Event Honored 11 Inductees By SCORE Journal Staff Photos courtesy ORMHOF It had been two years since the Off Road Motorsports Hall Of Fame had an Induction Award Gala, so this 2021 event honored the 2020 and 2021 inductees at the South Point Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. “We didn’t get to have a gala last year, and we talked about an online event,” said Barbara Rainey, ORMOF Executive Administrator. “The overwhelming response from inductees was that walking across the stage in front of an audience of your peers was truly worth waiting for.” The group of eleven inductees included Bob Bower, Dean Bulloch, Danny Foddrill, Jack Johnson, Steve Kelley, Spenser Low, John Marking, Roger Mears, Tim Morton, Call Wells III and Tom White. The host for the induction ceremonies was Jim Beaver, a factory Polaris racers who has also race in SCORE Trophy Truck and has numerous wins across various desert racing sanctioning bodies. Beaver also served as on-air talent for various off-road racing productions and has worked on several media projects across many motorsports. While the achievements of all the inductees were showcased at this year’s event, ORMHOF also recognizes those individuals who promote the sport within a variety of industry segments. The 2021 Impact Awards Presented by 4WP had numerous nominees within the various categories but the ORMHOF members vote for one overall winner in each. Kathryn Lynch received the Voter’s Choice in the Advocate category, the Short Course Category winner was Kyle LeDuc. The UTV Impact Award when to Casey Currie. The Desert Impact Award went to Ryan Arciero, while the MX/ATV category award went to Ricky Brabec. The Rock Sports category winner was Loren Healy, and within the Industry category Craig Scanlon of 4WP was the voter’s choice. ORMHOF also honors an individual with the Louie Unser Never Give Up Award Presented by Yokohama Tire to ORMHOF Inductee Bob Ham for his efforts throughout his entire career to ensuring citizen’s rights for enjoying public lands in the West through the legislative process.
