SEI Women's Network

On behalf of the SEI Women's Network Board past and present, I want to welcome you to our 8th annual Leadership Summit. Over the next couple of days, you will hear from more than 30 inspirational thought leaders, sharing stories and perspectives to help you learn something new, feel more empowered or simply think about something with a new lens. We are thrilled to bring together the SEI community for our 8th annual event and commit to becoming better leaders—together. We hope that the Leadership Summit can be a spark that ignites an inner passion in all of you and serves as that extra push for you to pursue your goals and dreams for the future. It is a true honor to serve as the SEI Women's Network President and to hear the stories and accomplishments of incredible women across the organization. As 2021 comes to a close, I want to thank you, the SEI community, for your ongoing support over the years and, more importantly, for investing the time and energy to show up time and time again. Thank you for bringing new ideas and perspectives to the table. Thank you for sharing your own #HERSTORY with us in many different ways. Thank you for pushing beyond boundaries and leading your way and for remembering to lift others as you climb. Thank you for coming together to help make a difference for the entire organization. Last year, I shared some thoughts on the power of purpose. You, the SEI community, are our purpose. Every single one of you are part of the Women's Network and are the focus of everything we do. We focus on your growth. We want to help you achieve your full potential personally and professionally. Whatever goals and dreams you have, we want to provide meaningful education and development opportunities to support you on the journey to achieve them. We aim to connect our global community. We're focused on creating a sense of connectedness across our community, now more than ever, as we continue to navigate virtual and/or hybrid environments. We focus on increased recognition. We see all of the incredible people we have within the SEI community! Each and every one of you. We strive to identify and recognize the talent across the organization that makes this community what it is today and drives growth to fuel the future. We strive to provide a platform for employees' authentic voices to shine. We want to be a catalyst for long-term change and improvement, and to do that, we need to hear from you because your voices matter. We want to hear your stories, challenges, successes, questions and ideas. Additionally, we seek out opportunities to foster open dialogue between senior leadership and our employee base for reciprocal learning opportunities. We believe in the power of collaboration. As you'll hear in one of our keynote sessions—we are stronger together. We value inclusion and diversity of thought, and we know that we can better fulfill our mission when we're working together with others who share our goals and passion. As we look ahead to 2022, we're excited to celebrate SWN's 15th anniversary and reflect on the journey we've had to this point, but we know there's still more work to be done. With "Your Fearless Future Starts Now" in mind, our board is committed to fearlessly serving the SEI community in the years to come—having the conversations that need to be had, challenging the status quo and making an impact that helps create an even better future for the next generation.
