Optima Batteries Named Official Battery of SCORE World Desert Championship SCORE International welcomes Optima Batteries to the SCORE World Desert Championship series as the Official Battery of SCORE through the end of the 2024 season. Optima is a familiar brand in off-road racing as many race trucks, UTVs, pre-runners and chase vehicles all use Optima batteries. Off-road fans gathered to hang out with Luke, Dan and Mark McMillin, eat free tacos and help Toys For Tots by donating a new unwrapped toy for the toy drive. Prizes were handed out to participants in the toy drive, including a set of Method Race Wheels, Baja Design Lights, BFGoodrich Tires, SCORE’s Racing Into History Baja 1000 and Baja 500 50th anniversary books, 4WP Gift Cards, and much more. BFGooddrich Tires Awards $40K To Rob MacCachren and Luke McMillin After finishing first Overall at the 54th BFGoodrich Tires SCORE Baja 1000 Presented by 4 Wheel Parts, Rob MacCachren and Luke McMillin were awarded a $40K prize from BFGoodrich Tires for winning the race on the company’s race tires.
