He tallied an assist in his second game just two days later and registered five total points in his first nine games. Prior to his call-up, Perunovich lit up the American Hockey League with 20 points in 12 games from the blue line. Brothers Will and Bennett Zmolek of Rochester faced off against each other for the first time last month as Minnesota State traveled to Bemidji State for a weekend series. Will is a junior defenseman for the Beavers and Bennett is a freshman blue-liner for the Mavericks. Bennett tallied his first collegiate goal against his brother during the second game. Meanwhile, sisters Jessica and Kate Boland from Northfield have started another sibling rivalry between the Mavericks and Beavers. Jessica is a freshman forward at Minnesota State and Kate is a junior defenseman at Bemidji State. PHOTOBOOTH COLLEGE HOCKEY Perunovich hopes to be a fixture on the Blues for years to come.
