Cam Brown (2016-19), LB, New York Giants: Brown appeared in 12 games for the Giants in 2021, playing only on special teams in 10 of them. He finished the year with nine tackles. Jason Cabinda (2014-17), FB, Detroit Lions: The 2021 season saw Cabinda score his first touchdown, a six-yard reception in Week 15 against the Cardinals. He concluded the year with 16 receiving yards and 21 rushing yards. Dan Chisena (2015-19), WR, Min- nesota Vikings: The former Penn State walk-on played in 11 games for Minne- sota, making three special teams tackles. Pat Freiermuth (2018-20), TE, Pittsburgh Steelers: Freiermuth im- pressed during his rookie season, helping the Steelers reach the playoffs by catch- ing 60 passes for 497 yards and seven touchdowns. Will Fries (2016-20), OL, Indianap- olis Colts: The rookie played 22 snaps in two games for the Colts this season, making his NFL debut in Week 13. Mike Gesicki (2014-17), TE, Miami Dolphins: The free-agent-to-be finished the year with 780 receiving yards — a career high, and good enough for eighth among all NFL tight ends. He also found the end zone twice and should be well-positioned to sign a lucrative contract this offseason. Blake Gillikin (2016-19), P, New Orleans Saints: Gillikin's first season in the NFL went swimmingly. He punted 83 times for an average of 47.7 yards, ninth- best in the league. Kevin Givens (2015-18), DT, San Francisco 49ers: Givens appeared in 13 games in the regular season, registering 17 tackles and forcing a fumble. He also came away with half a sack in a first- round playoff game against Dallas, help- ing the 49ers make a deep playoff run. Chris Godwin (2014-16), WR, Tampa Bay Buccaneers: The former Penn State wideout suffered a season- ending injury in Week 15 against the Saints, tearing his ACL and MCL on a hit to his knee. He finished the year with 98 receptions for 1,103 yards and six scores. At the time of his injury he ranked fifth in the league in receiving yards. Robbie Gould (2001-04), K, San Francisco 49ers: Gould set a league record with 20 career playoff field goal attempts without a miss. He hit a huge one in the divisional round against Green Bay, knocking through a 45-yard attempt in the snow as time expired to send San Francisco to the NFC title game. In an injury-plagued regular sea- son, Gould made 20 of his 23 attempts. Yetur Gross-Matos (2017-19), DE, Carolina Panthers: Gross-Matos started the final two games of the season for Carolina, but spent the rest of his second year in the NFL playing a reserve role. He totaled 3.5 sacks, forced a fumble, and finished the year with 28 tackles. Grant Haley (2014-17), CB, Los Angeles Rams: After signing with the Rams in Week 14, Haley played in every game since, primarily on special teams. In a second-round playoff win over Tampa Bay, he made three special teams tackles. Jesse James (2012-14), TE, Chicago Bears: James started nine games for the Bears this season, hauling in seven re- ceptions for 62 yards and a score. Austin Johnson (2012-15), DT, New York Giants: Johnson started every game this season for New York, produc- ing 3.5 sacks and 72 tackles. Juwan Johnson (2015-18), TE, New Orleans Saints: Johnson appeared in 14 games this season, reeling in 13 passes for 159 yards and four touchdowns. DaQuan Jones (2010-13), DT, Caro- lina Panthers: Jones started every game this season for a very solid Panthers defense, making 38 tackles and forcing a fumble. Connor McGovern (2016-18), OL, Dallas Cowboys: McGovern did a little bit of everything for the Cowboys this year. He played some fullback in an al- ternative package and started six games at guard, too. Trace McSorley (2014-18), QB, Arizona Cardinals: Signed by the Car- dinals off Baltimore's practice squad at midseason, McSorley did not make an appearance. Carl Nassib (2011-15), DE, Las Vegas Raiders: Nassib helped the Raid- ers reach the playoffs, totaling 1.5 sacks and 21 tackles in 13 games. Amani Oruwariye (2014-18), CB, Detroit Lions: The Lions placed Oru- wariye on injured reserve prior to a Week 16 loss to Atlanta, ending what had been a phenomenal season for the corner- back. Oruwariye finished the year with six interceptions — third-best in the NFL — 11 pass breakups and a fumble recovery to go along with 44 tackles in 14 games. Odafe Oweh (2018-20), DE, Balti- more Ravens: Oweh finished his rookie season with five sacks, 15 QB hits, three forced fumbles and two fumble recover- ies to go along with 33 tackles. He played 65 percent of Baltimore's defensive snaps in his rookie season. John Reid (2015-19), CB, Seattle Seahawks: Reid started twice for Seattle in the final two weeks of the season. Overall, he appeared in 11 games, break- ing up two passes and making 12 tackles. Allen Robinson II (2011-13), WR, Chicago Bears: A down year saw Rob- inson catch only 38 passes for 410 yards and one touchdown while playing in a dysfunctional Bears offense. He's a free agent this offseason. Miles Sanders (2016-18), RB, Phila- delphia Eagles: Sanders fought through injury to play in 12 games for the Eagles, rushing 137 times for 754 yards, the most efficient mark of his three-year career. He also caught 26 passes for 158 yards. Nick Scott (2014-18), S, Los An- geles Rams: Scott is a special teams specialist no more. He played 36 percent of all snaps for the Rams at safety during the regular season and started their first two playoff games as well, picking off Tom Brady to help Los Angeles reach the NFC title game. Donovan Smith (2011-14), OL, Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Smith started every game this season for the Bucs at left tackle, playing 97 percent of their snaps overall. Shaka Toney (2016-20), DE, Wash- ington Football Team: Toney appeared in 10 games in his rookie season, includ- ing one start. He made 1.5 sacks and eight total tackles, hitting the quarter- back three times. ■
