In previous years Soundwave Festival has been lucky enough to have artists such as De La Soul, Little Dragon, The Cinematic Orchestra, Roots Manuva, Bonobo and Gentleman's Dub Club to help create what was for many, not only the perfect festival, but also the holiday of a lifetime. In 2012, Soundwave Croatia relocated the festival to the grounds at The Garden, Tisno. This incredibly beautiful site is just a short walk around the bay from the small Dalmatian town of Tisno. Tisno straddles the Croatian mainland and the Island of Murter, linked by a 20km bridge! Located 45km south of Zadar airport and 65km north of Split airport, Tisno is ideally situated for those of you flying in. The charming town is picture perfect with a host of restaurants, cafes, apartments and small boutique hotels. set in a tree-lined area of parkland in the centre of the site just moments from the seafront. Within the festival site itself and on the hills overlooking the bay is a small on-site apartment village and luxury boutique camping for those who want to be as close to the action as possible. For more accommodation options, if you undertake the short walk around the bay you will find an abundance of beds in the stunning setting of Tisno. A favourite for many, The Beach Stage allows festival-goers to dance in the glistening Adriatic Sea while simultaneously listening to your favourite DJs play through a crystal clear Funktion 1 sound system. The festival site is on a beautiful strip of coastline where the Dalmatian Coast meets the Adriatic Sea. The main stage arena is a little bigger in capacity than previously and is now Barbarella's open-air Discotheque is also huge and has room enough for everyone to dance in the warm moonlit night to great DJs until the early hours of the morning.
