DRUM N BASS / DUBSTEP 35 7 www.guestlist.net Issue 53 / 2013 Guestlist recommends: Kryptic Minds Album of the month: Nebula Dance This English duo have been producing music since 2002, but only recently have their tracks started to generate some much deserved chatter in dubstep communities. The duo consists of Si and Leon, though not much else is known about them except for these vague names. Not purely dubstep producers, Kryptic Minds first gained notoriety on the drum and bass scene after their track 'The Truth' was released on Andy C's subsidiary Frequency. If you like your dubstep dark, slow and methodical then these guys are for you. Ultimately, what sets these guys apart from all the other usual dubstep is their penchant for minimalism. It's got all those lovely grinds and oscillations but without the over-the-top chaos that usually ensues in any standard bit of grimy dubstep these days.
