Wet labs brought to you by: As we come into a new era of equine practice, I hope that you all will join us in Fort Worth for a very interactive meeting and will register your technicians as well. We have a fun tech meeting planned with dry labs and lectures on Emergency and Critical Care. Russ Freeland, Jr., DVM, DACVS-LA , has developed his skills in dystocias and emergency management during his last year working at Hagyard. You all may remember him from the Vet ER LIVE show in which he resuscitated the piglets with snout to mouth on national TV. He will share his ideas with our techs to help efficiency with triage. In addition, Elizabeth Hinton, from Texas A&M, has trained surgery technicians for years and will educate us all on sterile techniques and sterilization of both surgery tools and endoscopes. We hope that these topics will help bring novel ideas into your practice and will help to develop your technicians' skills further. Can't wait to see you there!
