Bell, DVM, DACVO This lab will allow attendees to practice fundic exams using indirect ophthalmoscopy with close instruction. Participants will also perform intraocular pressure measurements as well as ocular ultrasounds. Examples of abnormal ultrasound pictures will be available for comparison to our live horse ultrasounds. Session 314: 4:00PM–6:00PM 2 CEU Will Rogers Cattle Barn 2 and Adjacent Arena Close-Ups with the Cornea: Sampling Techniques for Corneal Culture & Cytology with Cytology Review — with Stephanie C. Bell, DVM, DACVO This lab will enable participants to practice corneal sampling techniques on cadaver globes using a variety of instrumentation including culturette swabs, cytology brushes, cotton tipped applicators, and blade handles. Significant cytology findings will be reviewed. Treatment for indolent sterile ulcers will be demonstrated.
