Mitsubishi Fuso to offer solar power options M The eNow systems for Canter FE/FG Series trucks will be available through more than 200 Mitsubishi Fuso dealers. itsubishi Fuso Truck of America announced a strategic partnership with eNow to offer a range of solar-based auxiliary power system options for its Canter FE/FG Series medium-duty commercial trucks. The eNow systems will be available through more than 200 Mitsubishi Fuso dealers in the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico. Applications range from 30-watt systems to help keep batteries charged to 6,400-watt systems capable of powering liftgates and refrigeration systems. The eNow solar-power options are designed specifically for the truck transportation industry and can help owners comply with idling and emissions regulations. Westport unveils Ice Pack LNG Tank System A t the ACT Expo in Washington D.C., Westport debuted its Ice Pack LNG Tank System, an onboard liquefied natural gas tank system customized for spark-ignited engines designed to provide increased range, longer hold times and faster fueling times. The company said the launch of the Cummins Westport ISX12G engine has moved spark-ignited engines into the regional haul segment, making LNG more suitable as a fuel for those applications.
