right off the highway–which allows the

There are several youth clubs around that
supplement business during the winter, as
do the three colleges within five or
six miles."
Wolf's Indoor Soccer offers adult play
year-round, as well as some youth training
during the winter. This summer, the facility
will also offer SoccerTots.
For the most part, however, the facility
caters to adults, who play Sunday
through Friday for five sessions throughout

the year with a week-long break between
sessions.
"It's kinda funny," says David. "When
players take a week off, they miss it. They
say, 'I'm out of shape!' after missing one
week, and we laugh."
For many facilities, summer is considered
the slow period, but not for Wolf's.
Although many local soccer players
go outdoors for the spring, some find
that games are likely to get rained out.
Therefore, they may set aside one night
a week for an outdoor game, but they'll
continue to play indoor soccer, even during
the summer.
"With kids coming home from college,
summer is actually quite busy." The facility
also has its regulars. Some of the teams
have been playing at Wolf's five seasons
a year for ten years. "A few faces will
change, but the core of the team is usually
the same."
Like other facility operators, David has
learned that adult leagues are key to yearround business.
During the week, the facility opens at
5 p.m., and games run until midnight. On
the weekends, games run from 8 a.m.
