I didn't really want to have so many pictures of me in this issue, but it just turned out that so many of the photographs taken at September's USIndoor Facility Operators' Conference included my grim mug. As punishment, further depictions of myself are banished from this piece. I figure you get enough of me anyway (except, of course, you Mom.) Speaking of the Conference, it was quite a success, with over 90 indoor soccer facilities and startups represented, along with 30 vendors. The total number of attendees was up 30% from our inaugural conference last year. A pictorial appears on page 24, and you may find a full report online via USIndoor's online "Facilities" page. Facility operators, who missed the Conference, will definitely want to get up to speed on the just announced marketing program and become a part of the "USIndoor Network." F O ans will enjoy our centerpiece: a collage "History" page. from the Major Indoor Soccer League's first ther articles of interest include a faciliweekend of competition, featuring last seaty profile of GoodSports USA, a son's finalists from the World Indoor Soccer League multi-facility operation in New Jersey, and the MISL. a preview of this year''s National Indoor Championship, and a Q&A with Omid Namazi, Head Coach and player for the WISL Defending Champion Philadelphia KiXX. Of course, there''s much more, but you'll have to turn the pages to find out what. Enjoy. Remember to keep the letters and e-mails coming (and photos, too, to ensure that there''s more of you and less of me.) We enjoy hearing Sincetheiroff-seasonmerger,eightteamsnowcom- from you.
