The CCM Minnesota Hockey High Performance Programs provide the top 14- to 18-year-old hockey players in Minnesota with the opportunity to train and compete with the best players in their age group. The HP Spring Festivals and Camps attract coaches and scouts from across the country and offer players the opportunity to advance to national level development camps. CCM MINNESOTA HOCKEY HIGH PERFORMANCE PROGRAMS PROGRAM 17 As an affiliate of USA Hockey, Minnesota Hockey is proud to conduct the CCM High Performance Programs in conjunction with USA Hockey. The national festivals/camps are used by USA Hockey to identify the top performers in each age group for possible opportunities to represent the U.S.A. at advanced levels of national and international hockey competition. minnesotahockey.org. BOYS/GIRLS 14s PROGRAMS As the youngest age level offered, this program introduces the top 14-year-old boys and girls in Minnesota to the HP Programs. Players selected during district tryouts compete in the Spring Festival in Duluth, and the top 120 will advance to a development camp in June. BOYS/GIRLS 15s PROGRAMS The top 15-year-old players prog- ress from district tryouts in March to the Spring Festivals in April/ May, from which 102 players are chosen for the summer camp in June. This age group provides players with their first opportu- nity to advance to a USA Hockey National Development Camp. BOYS/GIRLS 16 & 17 PROGRAM Players ages 16-17 tryout based on high school section starting in March. Each section selects a team to compete in the Spring Festivals in April. The top 54 players from each age group are selected for the Final 54 Festival and compete to advance to national camps. HS JUNIORS & SENIORS The Ted Brill Great 8 provides the top boys high school seniors and 18-year-old juniors with a season ending showcase in April in South St. Paul. A team of 20 players from each class is chosen to represent Minnesota at the CCM National Invitational in Plymouth. DAVE PETERSON GOALIE AND SHOOTING CAMP Set for August in St. Cloud, this camp offers high level skill training for participants in the HP 15-18 programs.
