Practice looking one way and moving another. Set up a cone as the defender, and as you enter the zone, fake a pass to the middle and shoot or vice versa. If you look to the middle and can get your shoulders and arms facing another way, it's more likely you'll get a defender and/or the goaltender to bite. PRACTICE VISUALIZATION "We always work on physical skills, but believing in yourself, visualizing yourself scoring, can make a big difference. Visualize goals you've scored and watch players that are similar to you and see how they score goals. Visualize yourself scoring from a certain area, or shooting top left, bottom right.
