GOAT. After 18 seasons with the Minnesota Whitecaps, Winny Brodt-Brown announced her retirement from pro- fessional hockey this past August. The Roseville native was the very first Ms. Hockey Award winner in 1996, when she led the Raiders to a state championship. Brodt-Brown helped the University of Minnesota capture its first national cham- pionship in 2000 and proudly wore the Red, White and Blue for Team USA on multiple occasions. Brodt-Brown has played a huge role in the mento- ring and development of girls' and women's hockey players in Minnesota. Congratulations Winny!
