it is showtime! The past couple of months have seen the Sand Sports Super Show, Handstands at 100mph Desert Moto Celebration, Off-Road Expo, and now SEMA, and they are all once again generating proactive conversations and programs for the future as opposed to, “we will see what happens”, which has been the case for the last couple years due to COVID. With the three of these big industry shows now behind us, we get a good feel of what can happen for the upcoming 2023 season, and it is a lot different than the past few years. This positive feedback will bring more industry investment into the SCORE World Desert Championship series, increasing the series for bigger and better exposure and for off-road motorsports in general. See these event highlights for what the SCORE Journal edit team has deemed worthy of your interest levels and the people who made these products happen. Another major event that needs to be included in these important Industry functions, which is now firmly entrenched as a must-attend event, is the Off-Road Motorsports Hall of Fame or ORMHOF Inductee Awards Ceremony. This event now takes place as the lead event for the off-road category, for SEMA Week. The growth, impact, and spotlight this event has, for not only the motorsports segment but off-road industry initiatives, hit its stride as a top-level event, drawing over 700 hundred attendees.
