back to the norm! The 2022 BFGoodrich Tires 55th SCORE Baja 1000 Presented by 4 Wheel Parts race event, once again lived up to its global status with a great return to Pre Covid race activities. The 2022 season saw a return of SCORE signature events such as the Malecon start-finish line area for the SCORE San Felipe 250, the return to downtown Ensenada for traditional race start-finish areas during the SCORE Baja 500, 400, and 1000 race events. Also a maxed-out SCORE Baja 1000 Contingency area, which also reflected the return of mass crowds downtown for the not only Contingency days, but also the moto class starts that took place at 2 AM. Crowds also came in mass to witness the Finish line activities for both 12:30 AM Moto and 3:30 AM TT finishes! The SCORE Hospitality area was again allowed to be active, with BFGoodrich Tires taking full advantage of the great opportunity to showcase the SCORE Baja 1000 race activities at the Start / Finish suite area for their guests. These fully sponsored branded areas provided an exclusive experience for guests, providing a bird’s eye view of the race start and finish line action. Sponsor guests also have the “Green Flag” race experience activity, which is unique to SCORE as a major Global Motorsports event. Additional unique items attached to the SCORE Baja 1000 was the introduction of SCORE Legend, Scot Harden, as our first Moto Grand Marshal that was able to interact and attend all SCORE functions. He was a big boost to the moto classes of which he contributed and earned his way to becoming SCORE Legend as a 2x SCORE Baja 1000 OVERALL Winner and 3x SCORE Baja 500 OVERALL Winner, along with 3x SCORE Moto Class Championships.
