BFGOODRICH TIRES $25K PAYOUT At the end of the 55th BFGoodrich Tires SCORE Baja 1000 Presented by 4 Wheel Parts, BFGoodrich Tires Motorsports Director North America Jason Anzalone presented Luke McMillin with a check for $25K for his overall win in his No. 83 SCORE Trophy Truck outfitted with BFGoodrich Tires. LEXUS RETURNS TO BAJA RACING Lexus Japan returned to the SCORE Baja 1000, partnering with JAOS to compete in Class 8 Stock Full, during the 55th @bfgoodrichtires SCORE Baja 1000 Presented by @4wheelpartsofficial. Lexus has a history in Baja starting in 2009 with Joe Bacal driving one for Lexus USA at the SCORE Baja 500. They continued their efforts and went on to win the SCORE Baja 1000 three times, in 2010, 2012, and 2013. Unfortunately this 2022 team DNF’d but undoubtedly, their goal is to continue to test and finish. Andy McMillin Announces Retirement In a recent Instagram post, Andy McMillin officially closed the doors on AM31 and said he will no longer be running a full-time off-road racing operation. McMillin has five SCORE Baja 1000 Overall race wins, six SCORE Baja 500 Overall race wins, and two SCORE San Felipe 250 Overall race wins iin his long career. McMillin also mentioned selling his race truck but keeping his chase and pre-runner vehicles to compete in “the longest races in whatever capacity or opportunity that presents itself.”
