www.texasequineva.com | 23 Student Spotlight MORGAN PATTON Morgan was another one of our 2022 Summer CE Symposium volunteers. Originally from Joshua, Texas, Morgan is now in her 2nd year at TAMU School of Veterinary Medicine. She serves as the EP Wetlab Job Fair Co-Chair, an EP Club Member, Student Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society Member and TEVA member. She has a hard time picking a favorite experience thus far in her veterinary school experience. She says that anything equine vet-med related is very interesting to her. The highlight of her experience with TEVA was being able to participate in the Summer CE Symposium sports medicine lab by being able to ultrasound the stifle and flexor tendons! Morgan grew up riding horses from a young age and slowly ventured through about every discipline. "My first discipline was english/jumping then I moved on to endurance, running barrels/poles, rodeo queening, trick riding and breakaway roping (my favorite)." After a busy day of classes, one of her favorite things to do is to rope calves and study the bible. Thanks for being a part of TEVA, Morgan! She can be reached at Mpatton12@tamu.edu.
