Congratulations to all of the student athletes and teams for another unforgettable
season. Once again, you have helped the USA Clay Target League raise the bar by
setting new participation records and expanding opportunities throughout the country.
The 2023 Spring Season welcomed 34,629 student athletes on 1,625 high
school, college, and homeschool teams nationwide.
The League's continued growth and success would not be possible without the
incredible dedication of students, parents, coaches, and school leaders.
For the events that follow the season, it is the League's goal to provide a quality
competition whereas teams and individuals can compete at all skill levels. More
importantly, we want all participants to be safe and have fun.
Since the League started in 2008 with more than 225,000 participating
student athletes and more than 150 million-plus shots fired, there has never been
a reported injury. Clay target is the safest sport in school and everyone intends to
keep it that way.
In addition to following all League and shooting range safety policies, please
make sure you appreciate your competitors and that each student athlete
deserves our praise and respect.
THANK YOU PARENTS for your dedication and incredible support for your child's involvement in a school-sponsored activity!
THANK YOU COACHES AND TEAM STAFF MEMBERS for sharing your time and talent with these student athletes and their families.
This opportunity for these student athletes would not have happened without you!
THANK YOU SCHOOL LEADERS for your support providing this extracurricular activity to your education community!
THANK YOU SHOOTING RANGES for providing the leadership, facility, volunteers, quality targets, and great experience on each
tournament day!
On behalf of our Board of Directors and everyone that helps make this special event possible, be safe, have fun, and shoot well!
