UWIFBC funds a GED pro- gram for participants to acquire their GED and go on into local higher education programs and trade schools to sure finan- cial security. UWIFBC also funds local Head Start, YMCA childcare programs, and 14 aerschool programs so chil- dren can participate in quality early education and childcare. UWIFBC funds many Meals on Wheels programs, local food pantries and Weekend Food Backpacks throughout east- ern Idaho so seniors, students and families have access to hot meals and nutritious food. UWIFBC funds rental and utility assistance, mental health counseling and legal services for community members finding themselves in crisis.
