Bry- on Reed was meticulous in see- ing that they were constructed properly. e various buildings and grounds are used for soc- cer, family, and company events along with high school dances, many classes and other events. According to Stan Boyle, Chair- man of the Bonneville County Fairboard, more than half of the budget to run the fairgrounds is acquired by daily rentals of the facilities. From the beginning, the vision of the fairboard was for the fairgrounds to have year- round use. e dream is still a work in progress being enjoyed by countless individuals and organizations. Despite the pandemic, 4H growth since creating the new fairgrounds is impressive. e 2023 county fair will be Aug. 3-10 with the livestock auction on Aug. 10h and a 5K sponsored by Trail2Sparta and Grit League on Aug. 5. e public is wel- come and encouraged to attend the events at this year's fair.
